In 2007 AEM tendered and won the contract for the controls package associated with the new NHS Centre located at Chalkhill Road Wembley.

The installation consisted of a Central Boiler Plant, Mitsubishi VRF air conditioning system, 22 under floor heating manifolds with 176 associated room sensors.

Once again we were asked to install a Trend 963 supervisor to provide a fully configurable interface with the Air conditioning and Heating systems. On this occasion to provide a fully integrated system a Trend XNC programmable interface was installed to communicate with the Mitsubishi VRF air conditioning system. An individual graphical display is provided for each air conditioning unit allowing the customer to adjust settings on each individual unit.

A purpose built control panel housing a Trend IQ241 controller was installed in the main Boiler House. Software strategies held in the outstation operate the heating and hot water systems in an energy efficient manner to maintain the desired conditions within the building.

As part of the project some 22 under floor heating manifolds and 176 associated room sensors we installed. Each individual sensor had to be wired back to the correct manifold and connected to insure the correct manifold valve operated under the dictates of the sensor. Local user adjustment on each sensor enables the individual users to adjust the occupation temperature to suit the individual room usage.

Following completion the Trend 963 supervisor was networked on to a local intranet to enable the client to view the system operation from their remote offices. A three-user licence was provided to enable multiple access to the system.

Once again the system was installed on time and to budget, therefore allowing the client to occupy the building in a timely manner.
